It’s that time again! The playing prize-givings are over, and now we need to wrap up this season’s governance of the club with our Annual General Meeting. This is an opportunity to, raise concerns, make suggestions, get a better idea of how the club is run, and who it is that does it. Many of you will have never met most of the committee members, or even know who they are, but their involvement is vital for the continued smooth running of the club. The AGM is a chance for you to get an idea of who these volunteers are, and also have a say who fills what roles by engaging in voting for them. All of our roles are up for reelection by our members , and while many of our committee members are keen to stay on in their current capacity, there are some key roles opening up, as well as opportunities for individuals to join the committee as general members.
The AGM will take place at the Takaro Sports Club (corner of Featherson Street and Botanical Road) at 7:00pm, on Monday 16th November. Please do seriously consider coming along, and if you have any questions before the meeting feel free to email the club.
